The Heartland is Expanding!
Double the tours, double the fun! This year the Heartland Solar Tour is participating in the American Solar Energy Society National Solar Tour as always, and also joining up with the Illinois Solar Energy Association’s Illinois Solar Tour! Both tours are hybrid this year, offering both in-person and virtual opportunities to learn about your neighbors’ solar installations or show off your own. Including our own year-round Heartland Virtual Solar Tour, that makes for FIVE ways to participate! More info about each tour and how to sign up below.
ISEA 2022 Illinois Solar Tour
The 2022 Illinois Solar Tour will take place on Saturday, September 30th in a hybrid format! Home and business owners with renewable energy installations will open their homes to the public and share their passion, knowledge, and experience of owning, maintaining, and living with renewable energy.
ASES National Solar Tour
The National Solar Tour (NST) is a free annual event organized by the American Solar Energy Society (ASES) that showcases the benefits and possibilities of renewable energy and sustainability through a series of local open houses and tours open to the public. For over 28 years, the NST continues to bring together any individuals or organizations who have installed solar energy systems and sustainable features to provide an opportunity for the public to see firsthand how solar technology works and learn about its advantages.
